  1. Melt the chocolate chips and heavy whipping cream in the microwave for about 20 seconds, until it is melted.
  2. Stir the melted chocoate chips, cocoa powder, and heavy whipping cream together and set aside.
  3. Whisk the egg in a separate container.
  4. Mix the flour and sugar into the chocolate mixure until there is no visible white powder.
  5. Add the egg into the batter and mix until there are no lumps and everything is combined.
  6. Add one cup of water into the Instant Pot.
  7. Place the bowl onto the trivet and carefully lower the trivet into the Instant Pot.
  8. Seal the lid and pressure cook on high for 4 minutes, followed by a 4 minute natural release before manually releasing the rest of the pressure.
  9. Open the lid and quickly move it away from the pot to reduce the amount of water that falls onto the cake.
  10. Wait a minute or two until the trivet handles are cool enough to touch so you can lift it out of the Instant Pot and place it onto the counter to let the cake cool.
  11. Once the bowl is cool enough to touch, add some ice cream on top, and enjoy!
